Bloom Report - April 24- Enjoy our perky pansies and kale plantings at the entrance, plus daffodils along the entry drive and in front gardens. Magnolias are blooming near the Visitor Center, in the magnolia collection and shade tree exhibit; and don't miss the apricot trees in the prunus collection.
Also noteworthy: snowdrops in the Hosta Glade and Woodland Azalea Garden; dwarf iris and scilla in many areas, and forsythia in the perennial garden and along Three-Mile Drive. There's even several tulips blooming behind the Snyder building and in the visitor center gardens. In the wildflower garden, you'll find bloodroot, hepatica and rue anemone. Marsh marigolds are appearing in the wildflower garden and along the bog boardwalk. Check out the puschkenia in the dwarf conifers and several blooms in the rock garden. The Arboretum's Three-Mile Drive is now open to motorized vehicles!
