This majestic space, featuring curved ceiling beams and wrought iron chandeliers, accommodates up to 150 for meetings and 110 for banquets. The space includes a podium, a camouflaged blackboard, ceiling-mounted wireless LCD projector, a pull-down screen, room-darkening shades, and sound system. Double doors open onto the front terrace and a magnificent perennial garden.

This charming space is encircled with windows, features a wood-burning fireplace and massive wood beams, and a walkout stone terrace overlooking tranquil wetlands and woodlands. The space accommodates up to 40. The Tea Room Terrace connects with the more spacious Morgan Terrace and may be combined with the Snyder Building lobby.

A popular meeting place, the Fireplace Room is located on the second-floor and features a cozy atmosphere complete with crackling fire during the cooler months, a bird's-eye view of surrounding gardens and grounds, attractive cabin-style furniture, a projection screen, and room-darkening shades. The Fireplace Room can accommodate up to 50. The indoor balcony area is an adjoining space often used for food service.

Classrooms I & II

Accommodates Up To 50 Guests

Rental fee $145 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

These large, airy, practical spaces are ideal for meetings, classes, and workshops. Each classroom is equipped with a wide blackboard, a pull-down screen, and blackout shades. Classroom II incorporates a double sink and counter for demonstrations, and accommodates up to 40 with theatre-style seating. Classroom I accommodates up to 40 with classroom-style seating.

Meyer-Deats Conservatory

Accommodates Up To 30 Guests

Rental fee $175 per hour, 2-hour minimum

The conservatory is a sunny, cozy space filled with tropical plants, including a collection of bromeliads, orchids and seasonal flora. It is a perfect place to host a bridal shower, vow renewal, special anniversary, or a girlfriends' lunch. Now available for catered events October-April. Accomodates up to 30.

Conservatory Meetings

The Arboretum offers versatile spaces that can accommodate different room arrangements and intimate areas for receptions and networking. If your guests need a break, they can stretch their legs on our terraces and gardens that are only steps away and return refreshed. There are also plenty of trails for an easy stroll or miles of hiking path for vigorous exercise. The Arboretum is located near many hotels and restaurants in Chanhassen.

Whether you are with friends, relatives or co-workers, gathering in a place of beauty like the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum will deliver positive visual memories and guests will appreciate the effort made to select an outstanding venue.

Informational Tours

Private informational tours are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis 8 am to 4 pm seven days a week. All tours must be scheduled ahead of time.
