Maackia

Maackia
Maackia (Maackia amurense) is an excellent disease and pest free small tree from the Amur River area of China.  It has fine foliage and is a clean, deep green all summer.  Its white flowers in late July are not terribly showy but add flowers when few woody plants are blooming.  We have 7 specimens at this location (by Pea Shrubs).  We have 23 specimens throughout the Arboretum.
