Memorial and tribute gifts to the Andersen Horticultural Library (AHL) will be used to purchase books for our collections.  Books purchased with these gifts will be plated with archival paper labels applied to the inside cover of the book.  The plate will contain an inscription identifying the donor and the person(s) being honored or memorialized.  Living tributes will be plated "Gift of... in honor of... " and memorials will be plated "Gift of... in memory of...."

Memorial and tribute gifts may be made to the General Needs Fund or the Rare and Special Materials Fund

Memorial/Tribute Gifts to the General Needs Fund will used to purchase books for the main collection of the Andersen Horticultural Library including books or children's books on horticulture, landscape design, botany, ecology, natural history, and nature-related topics.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts to the Rare and Special Materials Fund will be used to purchase rare books, rare seed and nursery catalogs, or other special materials pertinent to Andersen Horticultural Library's collections.  These materials will be housed in a secure climate-controlled room preserving them for future generations.

If your gift is designated as a memorial or living tribute, library staff will contact you for more details.
