King uses a vibrant color palette and bold, unorthodox geometry. An assistant to Henry Moore early in his career, King's work emulates the tone explored by Abstract Expressionist painting. King aims for the visual experience of his work to create a sensation of movement. 'Wayzata Reel' - formerly known as 'Reel 3, 1969' - was renamed by King after presenting the piece to the Harrisons in 2006.

Gift of Alfred Harrison and Ingrid Lenz Harrison, 2017.
