Pea Pods for Preschoolers "Earth Day Celebration" Spring Sampler Kickoff

Friday, April 24, 9:30-11 a.m.

"Earth Day Celebration" is intended as a free introductory program for first time participants to try the Pea Pods for Preschoolers program before purchasing the full Summer 2020 series. The program is designed for 3-5 year olds together with an adult.

Explore nature together with your preschooler! Kindle a sense of wonder in the natural world and explore ways to care for the earth, plants and animals. Enjoy this opportunity to experience a free, introductory session of Pea Pods for Preschoolers with your young child. The "Earth Day Celebration" theme will include: planting, art, sensory and science discovery zones, music and story time, greenhouse exploration, adventures in the Green Play Yard and our own Pea Pods Garden, and a snack. Come play and learn!

Pea Pods for Preschoolers registration is for the seasonal series of 10 weekly classes designed for 3-5 year old children together with an adult.

Kindle a sense of wonder in the natural world with your preschool child as you reawaken it in yourself! Pea Pods for Preschoolers provides the opportunity for you and your special little one to be enchanted by the plant world. Each of ten weekly themes helps spark your child's appreciation for nature's beauty through planting, art, sensory and science, discovery zones, action and music, story time, Green Play Yard adventures, greenhouse exploration and snack. Come play and learn about nature!

June 25 or 26- Catch a Raindrop, Catch the Sun
July 9 or 10- Hotels and Restaurants
July 16 or 17- Lovely Ladybugs

TIPS

  • Adults should plan to attend with their child.
  • Non-participating siblings may attend at no charge if they are not a distraction to the group.
  • Siblings who participate should also be registered at the regular fee.
  • For late registrants, remaining class sessions may be available for purchase at a prorated price by calling 612-301-1210.

Explore nature in fall together with your preschooler! Follow the season as fall
flowers bloom, leaves turn golden, and apples and pumpkins ripen. Each
weekly theme helps to spark your child's appreciation for nature's beauty through planting,

Member Perk!
Arboretum Members may invite non-members to attend a class with them at the discounted member rate! Simply register for all participants at the same time in the same order and select the "member" rate for each person at checkout.

Waitlist
The best chance of being enrolled in a sold out class is to add your name to the waitlist. Click the orange "waitlist" button and complete the form, or call 612-301-1210. There is no obligation to register if a spot opens. If the waitlist shows enough demand, additional class sessions may be added.
