Ariel Dressler

Program Manager, Family Programs

As family programs coordinator, Ariel creates activities to help people of all ages learn about plants during their visit to the Arboretum. She joined the Arboretum Education Department in 2007 and holds a degree in Outdoor Education and Interpretation from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

Before moving to Minnesota, Ariel worked as a gardener at the United States Botanic Garden, and spent her weekends exploring the public gardens and parks in the Eastern US.

Zan Tomko

Zan TomkoZan lives in a world of Art and Horticulture. She has a K-12 Art Education degree, a Masters in Fine Arts Photography and taught computer graphic design at high school and community college. For the past three years, Zan has worked at the Arboretum and help develop and present "Let's Talk Plants" program and participate in the Arboretum Plant-mobile program.

She received the Master Gardeners' designation from University of Illinois and Purdue and is currently a student in greenhouse production at Hennepin Tech in Brooklyn Park, MN.
