Fall Harvest Festival
Saturday, September 30 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free with gate admission
Celebrate a full day of fall fun on the beautiful Arboretum grounds! The Harvest Festival will be lively with activities for the whole family in and around the Margot Picnic Shelters: Arts 'n crafts, games, an Instagram booth, Arboretum apple tastings, live music, tastings with local brewers, face painting, a corn roast sponsored by the Minnesota Corn Growers fall-inspired food and a marketplace featuring local crafters and artisans. Event is rain or shine.

Tickets are required for starred activities (generally 2-5 tickets) and food concession (generally 1-5 tickets). Ticket prices:
- 5 tickets: $10
- 10 tickets: $20
- 15 tickets: $27

Scarecrow Village is Back!
Marvel at the whimsical scarecrow creations made by Arboretum staff and visitor participants during the Harvest Festival. Scarecrows can be viewed at these locations:
- Oswald Visitor Center
- Dahlberg Terrace Garden
- Walkway leading to the Snyder Building
- Walking gardens behind the Snyder Building
At the Learning Center
FREE PlantMaker Studio Theme: Artist-Tree The Plant-Maker Studio offers "make a plant" experiences for all ages. Our technology-loaded lives can leave anyone eager to dig into nature and get their hands on plants. Studio activities, staffed by trained volunteers, will help you discover how to create colorful, non-toxic, natural dyes from trees and flowers! Mix and play with plant pigments as you dip and dye fiber. Use branches to form a natural loom and weave your own colorful, take-home memento embellished with flowers, grasses, and leaves.
