Mid-Summer Color Explosion! (Updated July 13) - There is an abundance of color in the structural garden areas near the visitor centers. The Annual Garden is filled with Marigolds, Petunias, Impatiens, Begonias and more, all displaying a rainbow of pink, purple, yellow, orange and white color. In the Perennial Garden, the Lily walk is alive with Asiatic Lilies and Daylilies and gorgeous Water Lilies give the collection a unique lake country feel. Out on Three-Mile Drive, the Nelson Shrub Rose Garden has its usual red, pink and cream color, and the Bailey Shrub Walk contains full-bloom Hydrangea and brightly blooming Cinquefoil.

Check out the What's In Bloom web page to see currently blooming plants.
