Our Veggies by the Yard plot is doing very well with the exception of the kohlrabi and beets , which the rabbits enjoyed for breakfast one too many times. We have been harvesting Swiss chard, radishes, eggplant, carrots, green beans, and Malabar spinach. The spinach has joined and is crowding the green beans on the bean trellis. Fortunately the Japanese beetles prefer the bean leaves to the spinach so they have caused little real damage.
