Days Growing Longer (Updated Feb. 6) - Minnesota gains over an hour of sunlight during the month of February, as sunrises change from roughly 7:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and sunsets change from about 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Can spring be far behind?

With little recent snowfall, the Arboretum's ski trails are in poor condition, with many sections closed awaiting more snowfall. Snowshoe trails are also closed and snowshoes are currently not being rented out at the front desk. Three-Mile Drive is currently closed to vehicle traffic, but always open to hikers. Come inside to enjoy gallery exhibits, or the tropical conservatory and the Library in the Snyder Building.

Take advantage of the warmer weather coming at the end of this week to see the evening exhibit "Bruce Munro: Winter Light at the Arboretum". Tickets available here.

Daytime building hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays. Buildings are open on Thursday through Sunday evenings for the winter exhibit.
