Enjoy a Morris dance performance by Uptown-on-Calhoun, a mixed-gender morris side (team) based in Minneapolis, MN. Morris dancing is a traditional English street performance dating back to before Shakespeare's time (who reportedly was *obliged* to include some morris dancing into his plays to take advantage of its immense popularity at the time). Uptown-on-Calhoun is one of several such groups in the Twin Cities, each of which has its own kind of personality and style.
