Minnesota Transportation in 2010

Southwest metro residents are invited to learn all about 2010 state transportation plans for highways 212, 5 and 101 from Minnesota Commissioner of Transportation Thomas K. Sorel at a luncheon program scheduled at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

The event, open to the public (with registration) and scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the MacMillan Auditorium of the Arboretum's Oswald Visitor Center.

Luncheon will be served from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. and the talk from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with a question and answer period to follow.

"This plan is especially important for Carver County as we continue to grow and truly need expanded and improved transportation options for residents and businesses to thrive."
