Guided Tram Tour
One Hour
AGES Best for adults or ages 12+
$5/person, children 2 and under free on lap

Purchase a ticket at the Visitor Center Information Desk and hop aboard the Trumpet Creeper Tram! A great introduction for first-time visitors, this guide-narrated tram tour highlights collections, display gardens and demonstration areas within our 1200+ acres, offering insights into the Arboretum's fascinating history and research. The tram accommodates 42 people with one wheelchair space. 

Tram departs from the turn-around in front of the Visitor Center. Be sure to purchase tickets first! Same-day tickets ($5/pp) available for purchase at Visitor Center Information Desk on a first-come, first-served basis. May 3 through Oct. 15, 2017

Guided Walking Tours
One Hour

AGES Best for adults or ages 12+
FREE with gate admission, no registration needed!

No need to pre-register for a walking tour, simply show up at the start time (see below) to see and learn more about the Arboretum during an informative tour led by an experienced Arboretum Docent! Based on seasonal highlights, each 60-minute guided tour will visit different gardens at their glorious peak bloom to pick up gardening ideas and reconnect with nature's serene beauty. No two tours are the same...return again and again to enjoy how the highlights change through the seasons of spring, summer and fall.

Meet in the Great Hall, Oswald Visitor Center No reservations needed! Simply show up at the start time (see right) May 3 through Oct. 6, 2018
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Saturdays at 1 p.m.
