Set your sights on enjoying nature from a different perspective. Practice uncovering hidden plant views with table top activities that will challenge your eyes. Make a take away garden viewer designed to refresh your sense of wonder. When you're ready to explore the gardens, let Arboretum guides help you decide where to go next to enjoy gardens at peak beauty.

House Hunting for Pollinators

DAYS Saturdays and Sundays
TIME drop-in between 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
FREE with gate admission

How can you help house-hunting pollinators where you live? It's surprisingly simple, make an inviting hollow stem home-starter to hang up. Find out what bare soil is best for native ground dwelling bees and get ideas for what you can do to make pollinators welcome in your neighborhood. Watch insects in action as you explore the bee and pollinator gardens.

Fold your own garden themed origami to talk home. What will you create, flower, leaf, acorn, or a bird?
Hands-on origami projects are self-guided and available every weekend June through September in the Arboretum Learning Center.
