Guided Adventures are perfect for daycare, scout, summer school or neighborhood groups wanting extra hands-on fun during an Arboretum visit. Each Guided Adventure lasts one hour. For groups of 10-50 children ages 3-12.

Roll up your sleeves and unearth some of the mystery of dynamic dirt. Plant seeds and experiment to discover what plants need to grow. Venture outside to the Children's Garden and look for clues to find out how dirt is made.
Ages 6-12
What would it be like to taste with your feet or fly upside down? Discover the amazing lives of butterflies and hummingbirds, our most colorful garden visitors. Learn how fast a hummingbird flaps its wings, how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly, and which flowers these winged creatures prefer. Pot a plant to attract hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden at home.
