The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum will play host to the Mill City Farmers Market and nearly 40 of its fabulous vendors for a day of browsing and shopping quality, locally sourced products. Visitors can shop for everything from wild rice to kimchi, specialty cheeses, freshly milled grains, local honey, small-batch granola, unique jams and jellies, pastured meats, handmade soaps, baked goods, beautiful ceramics and handcrafted jewelry. As a special treat, Mill City Farmers Market's own chef, Heather Hartman, will be on site for cooking demonstrations and will be sampling MN Wild Rice-Bison Meatballs in BBQ Sauce.

About the Arboretum rental snowshoes (purchased in 2011):
· Designed for trails walks and moderate backcountry hiking
· Bindings are easy to use and fold flat for packing
· Tails accept 6" extensions for added flotation
These rugged, lightweight snowshoes are especially suited for moderate walks and backcountry hikes. Tail accepts 6" flotation extension (sold online or at local retailers), letting you adjust for changing snow conditions and pack weight. A steel toe crampon, serrated lateral blades with extra-long saber teeth and braking bars molded into the platform provide outstanding traction. The binding attachment under the forefoot rotates freely to allow a natural stride, give the toe crampons a deeper grip, make hill climbing easier and keep the tail from flinging snow up your back. SpeedLock Binding is easy to use and packs flat; stand-up design allows easy entry and exit. Waterproof straps won't freeze and have large, easy-grip ends; strap keepers control excess length. USA.
Weight 3 lb. 7 oz. per pair.
Dimensions 8"W x 22"L.
