Explore tastes, textures, and seasonal recipes while you create a delicious and nutritious meal together. A great opportunity to bond with a young person in your life and/or expand the palate of a picky eater. We focus on ways to make vegetables and whole grains easy and delicious. (Food is as organic and local as possible.)
NEW! We've listened to your feedback and are happy to now offer smaller class sizes and multiple dates and age groups to choose from for our popular family cooking classes. Families with younger kids make lunch together, with a focus on safety and fun in the kitchen at a pace perfect for small hands and short attention spans. Families with older children make an early supper together, with the ability to focus on more advanced cooking techniques at a more age-appropriate pace. Families who wish to bring two or more children that cross the age group distinctions should simply make a choice that best fits their family.
Create a tasty garden-fresh rainbow meal! Cook using color as an easy guide for well-rounded nutrition, flavor, texture, and fun for the whole family! (Different recipes each summer for repeat participants. Food is as organic and local as possible, often using fresh produce harvested from the Arboretum Children's Garden!)
