What's Happening - Current Arboretum Events

Current  Arboretum hours: Grounds open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or sunset.  Visitor Center: Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ; Sunday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Gift Store: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.  Restaurant: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. , Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Andersen Horticultural Library: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays; 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekends.  Learning Center : Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; weekends, noon-4 p.m.    
Please note:  Arboretum admission: $12 for adults and ages 13 & older;  free for youths 12 and younger. Always free for members.

Summer in Motion: 'Gophers in the Gardens'
June 1-Aug. 31, Arboretum grounds.
The University of Minnesota's "Goldy Gopher" is visiting the Arboretum!  Look for ten 5-foot tall Goldy statues - all distinctly decorated - in various Arboretum gardens.  It's all part of our "Summer in Motion" season of outdoor music and movies and open houses in the gardens!  Presented by Minnesota Corn Growers Association.

U of M Plant Introductions Photo Exhibit

Learn about the amazing variety of University of Minnesota cold-hardy plant introductions - including Honeycrisp apples - through this informative photo exhibit. 

Goldy Gopher History Exhibit

Learn the history behind the Minnesota Gopher name and the beloved Goldy Gopher mascot!

Gala in the Gardens
6-9 p.m., Arboretum gardens

Special Access: Spring Peeper Meadow
9-11 a.m. Meet in Ordway Parking Lot for bus transport. $15 member/ $30 non-member
