Ancient Japanese Natural Dying Technique: Shibori Indigo Napkins

With the focus on the environment, try a sustainable option in the kitchen such as beautiful reusable cloth napkins. Before printing design on fabric was developed, the ancient Japanese used a resist technique called Shibori to bind certain areas of fabric so the dye wouldn’t penetrate, leaving white designs on the colored fabric.
