—Seeking Spectacular Gardens. The Arboretum Auxiliary is looking for interesting, creative or unique local gardens to highlight in their 2012 Private Gardens Tour. Do you have a garden or know of someone who would like to showcase theirs in the annual tour? The committee is looking for visually appealing gardens that offer tour attendees new ideas for their own gardens. These gardens can be created and maintained by the homeowner or by professional landscapers and should be located within 20 minutes of the Arboretum. The annual Auxiliary Private Gardens Tour provides a rare chance to visit some of the area's finest gardens and raises much-needed funds for the Arboretum. The tours will be held on Sunday, July 15, and Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17 & 18. For more information or to suggest a garden for the tour, pleasen contact Leanna Rogers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
