A Good and Ghoulish Time

We had a great turnout of ghosts, witches & princesses of every age for Ghouls & Goblins at the Maze on Saturday. Sunny weather, ample smiles, giggles and screeches filled the air—lots of fun and adventure! More than 4,000 did the Trick or Treat Trail and dared to enter the Maze. Thanks to all the families, volunteers and staff—and especially presenting sponsor RBC Wealth Management—for making Halloween at the Arboretum extra special this year. Watch a glimpse of the ghouls and goblins...

Seeking Spectacular Gardens. The Arboretum Auxiliary is looking for interesting, creative or unique local gardens to highlight in their 2012 Private Gardens Tour. Do you have a garden or know of someone who would like to showcase theirs in the annual tour? The committee is looking for visually appealing gardens that offer tour attendees new ideas for their own gardens. These gardens can be created and maintained by the homeowner or by professional landscapers and should be located within 20 minutes of the Arboretum. The annual Auxiliary Private Gardens Tour provides a rare chance to visit some of the area's finest gardens and raises much-needed funds for the Arboretum. The tours will be held on Sunday, July 15, and Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17 & 18. For more information or to suggest a garden for the tour, pleasen contact Leanna Rogers at wirefoxmom@comcast.net.

It's that time of year! Please consider supporting our Arboretum, its gardens and programs through a tax-deductible donation to the annual fund (call Terri Gustavson at 952-443-1432 or click here). Or purchase a "gift of membership" for friends or family. Memberships start at $45. With each gift membership purchased, you will receive a stunning 2012 Arboretum wall calendar featuring images by the Arboretum Photographers Society. Click here or call 952-443-1440.
