The tulips were stunning while they lasted, and the annuals are being planted this week. On June 11, we'll offer free (with Arb admission) rose pruning and demos: Pruning Espalier, 9 a.m. to noon in the Home Demo Garden. Come see for yourself what's growing in our garden!

We can't imagine anyone ever growing tired of exploring the beauty of the gardens. But perhaps it's time to try a new way to see the sights at the Arb:
--Hike the Bog Walk along Green Heron Trail. Recently renovated and re-opened for service, it's a glorious way to see some new sights. http://www.arboretum.umn.edu/bogwalk.aspx
--Take a tram tour aboard the Trumpet Creeper Tram. A narrated tour of the 1,100+ acres of gardens and woodlands. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday through Sunday at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m. Thursday tram tour times are noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for sale at the Oswald Visitor Center.
--Go on a "Walk for the Curious." Coming up: Saturdays, June 4 and 11. Register: http://www.arboretum.umn.edu/walksandfitness.aspx
--Get a free Arboretum Highlights tour: 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays-Fridays, and Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m., departing from the Oswald Visitor Center.
