Meet the artists and get an informal tour of the "Here Comes the Sun" exhibit in the Reedy Gallery. Saturday, May 21, 1-3 p.m. The exhibit runs through Aug. 14 and features works by 20 painters. www.arboretum.umn.edu/herecomesthesun.aspx

Classes continued

Learn about trees in the class "Selecting and Using Native Trees, Shrubs and Woodland Wildflowers," Saturday, May 21, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Snyder Building. Designing with native trees, shrubs and woodland wildflowers can help create sustainable and easy-care landscapes with year-round natural beauty. Learn how to best utilize your garden site and how to create the site for native plants. Instructor: Kathy Zuzak. $30 member/$40 non-member.
