Celebrate the flavor of summer with a berry delicious bite in the Harvest Kitchen. Dip a brush in berry juice and paint a picture with plant pigment. Take part in a Children's Garden safari and meet the plants and pollinators that produce a bounty of summer berries. Be sure to visit "Under the Oak", an interactive nature play area and the "Arbor Art Stop" where you can make art with the trees.

How long are the roots on prairie grass? Go on a flower hunt to find the late bloomers that flower in prairie meadows. Along the way meet the butterflies and birds that call the prairie home. Select seeds to start your own prairie and braid a sweet grass bundle. Be sure to visit "Under the Oak", an interactive nature play area and the "Arbor Art Stop" where you can make art with the trees.

Gather in the Thursday evening twilight as puppeteers, storytellers, musicians, dancers, and artists bring a new way to delight in the wonder of plants, nature, and Earth. Engage in hands-on projects, or lean back on a blanket to enjoy the sounds of summer. Bring a picnic and a blanket or share one of our quilts.
