Auxiliary
The Auxiliary is a group of Arboretum enthusiasts, men and women, who volunteer time and talent to support the work of the Arboretum. Since our founding in 1968, our special fundraising events have provided over a $2 million of critical support to the Arboretum's mission. The Auxiliary compiled these donations through the cleverness, ambition and hard work of its members by way of six main events: Quilt Raffle, Spring Plant Sale, Summer Garden Tours, Fall Harvest Sale, Holiday Sale, and the Great Hall of Orchids Private Preview.

The Auxiliary holds quarterly meetings followed by a luncheon featuring educational speakers. Workshops and informal get-togethers during the year offer enrichment opportunities for our members. We have a Board of Directors, a quarterly newsletter, and share periodic pertinent information via email and voicemail with our members. Participation in our activities provides opportunities for personal growth, including leadership positions within our organization. Auxiliary members make new friends, increase their horticultural knowledge and develop their creative talents while supporting the work of the Arboretum.
