AUXILIARY

The Auxiliary is a group of Arboretum enthusiasts, men and women, who volunteer time and talent to support the work of the Arboretum. Since our founding in 1968, our special fundraising events have provided over a million and a half dollars of critical support to the Arboretum's mission.

The Auxiliary compiled these donations through the cleverness, ambition and hard work of its members by way of six main events; the Quilt Raffle, the Spring Plant Sale, the Summer Garden Tours, the Fall Harvest Sale, Holiday Sale and the Passport to Paradise Preview.

But we're not always working. We meet quarterly for a luncheon followed by interesting speakers. We have workshops and informal get-togethers during the year and provide educational and enrichment opportunities for our members. We have a Board of Directors, a quarterly newsletter, and even our own "Clubhouse" - Frog Hollow. Our volunteer opportunities include leadership positions that encourage personal growth. Auxiliary members make new friends, increase their horticultural knowledge and develop their own creative talents.
