The Auxiliary is a group of Arboretum enthusiasts, men and women, who volunteer time and talent to support the work of the Arboretum. Since our founding in 1968, our special fundraising events have provided over a $2 million of critical support to the Arboretum's mission. The Auxiliary compiled these donations through the cleverness, ambition and hard work of its members by way of six main events: Quilt Raffle, Spring Plant Sale, Summer Garden Tours, Fall Harvest Sale, Holiday Sale, and the Great Hall of Orchids Private Preview.

The Auxiliary holds quarterly meetings followed by a luncheon with educational speakers. Workshops and informal get-togethers during the year to provide educational and enrichment opportunities for our members. We have a Board of Directors, a quarterly newsletter, and even our own "Clubhouse" - Frog Hollow. Our volunteer opportunities include leadership positions that encourage personal growth. Auxiliary members make new friends, increase their horticultural knowledge and develop their own creative talents all while supporting the work of the Arboretum.
