Role of Members

• Volunteer time and skills to fulfill photography requests from the Arboretum
• Contribute photographs for display and potential use by the Arboretum
• Participate in photography exhibits and workshops at the Arboretum and other venues
• Attend monthly meetings and volunteer time with one of the society's committees
• Lead or participate in photo shoot

 Dues

$30 per year
$5 per year (optional) for personal web page on the Arboretum Photographers website to showcase your personal photography

Requirements for Exhibiting Eligibility for Members

Volunteer at least 10 hours at the Arboretum per year, including fulfilling at least 1 Arboretum Photography Request.
Attend at least 6 of the last 12 monthly meetings. Please note there are new Arboretum tripod limitations to ensure the gardens, natural areas and indoor attractions are welcoming, accessible places for everyone. Click here for more information.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Photography Shows & Classes at the Arboretum

5th Annual Juried Show & Sale

The show features 36 nature images captured at the Arboretum and selected from 100-plus photos submitted by Arboretum Photography Society members. Visitors can feast their eyes on butteries in mid-ight, velvety rose blossoms, misty sunrises and more. Drop in at a photo clinic with an APS photographer Saturdays Jan. 7, 14, 21 & 28, Feb. 4, 11, 18 & 25, March 3, 17 & 31, April 14 & 28, and May 12 from noon to 3 p.m., Oswald Visitor Center. All framed photographs are for sale and photographs will be available for sale at the Gift Store with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Arboretum.
