Science of Plant Propagation
Classes & Workshops

Plants are intricate, fascinating organisms: this series will open your eyes to their amazing biology and transform your gardening capabilities. Each Science of Plant Propagation class is designed to provide valuable information on its own, and a complete foundation of knowledge and skills when bundled together. Through a combination of hands-on lab and classroom presentation, you will take home your "experiments" and be ready to embark on additional projects. Classes in this series are designed for a range of abilities, from new gardeners to master gardeners, hobbyists, professionals, and students looking to bolster their college-science savvy.

Jim Calkins, landscape and production horticulturist, Research Information Director at Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association and former University of Minnesota instructor
