How do plants grow from seed to seed? The main puppet show characters, Talking Tree and Petunia, help the class learn about the basic parts and functions of a plant. Then kindergarteners take the starring role as sunflowers in a whole body action play, "The most beautiful field of Sunflowers". These activities set the stage for sensory exploration of plants in the greenhouse, and the seed planting activity and take home science investigation in the Planting Shed.
