The gang's all here - Big Max, Howden Biggie, Baby Boo, Long Island Cheese, Wee-be-little, Atlantic Giant and Batwing Mix.

No, these aren't professional poker players or all-star wrestlers. Rather, they are members of the Cucurbit plant family (that's pumpkins and squash, to you and me).

The Cucurbit family in all its endless variety will hold center stage when the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum presents Pumpkin Palooza in the Oswald Visitor Center, from Saturday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Nov. 1. Pumpkin Palooza will be an eye-popping cucurbit display - mainly in the Great Hall of the Oswald Visitor Center, but outdoors as well - featuring more than 50 pumpkin and squash varieties.

Pumpkin Palooza is part of the "Autumn Unplugged" season at the Arboretum, presented by COUNTRY Financial.
