STORYBOOK GARDENS Session I (1st-2nd grade grads): June 17-19, 9-noon Session II (2nd-4th grade grads): June 17-19, 1-4 p.m. Fee: $58 member/ $67 non-member Help us bring our favorite plant storybooks to life-as we explore Arboretum gardens we'll expand story themes, create story characters from natural materials and make outdoor storybook settings. Bring home storybook-based plantings!

Learn to identify MN trees and some of the creatures that call our trees home. Become a tree "doctor" at the Arboretum. Plant trees to take home.
A FLOWER'S POWER July 22-24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Fee: $78 member/$90 non-member A flower's power is in the advertising. Explore the gardens from a butterfly's perspective, and discover why a bee's body makes it an effective pollinator. Use microscopes to zoom-in on the intricate relationship between pollinators and flowers. Look inside a hive at the truly fascinating lives of bees. Plants and projects to bring home.
ART AT THE ARB July 29-31, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Fee: $52 member/ $60 non-member Preserve unique views of the Arboretum gardens with the help of guest instructor Gretchen Wagener. Campers will experiment with mediums such as watercolors, pencils, pastels and clay.
KITCHEN CREATORS Aug. 20-21, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Fee: $56 member/$64 non-member Grind grain for homemade bread and harvest flowers and herbs from the garden. Join Chef and experienced teacher Jenny Breen in preparing a fresh delicious lunch both days! Take home culinary plants.
