For over 20 years the Auxiliary has invited guests to tour some of the areas most glorious, original, private gardens in the Twin Cities.
Unlike other garden tours, the owners of these gardens will be available to share their experiences and answer questions for the tour. It's the perfect way to collect ideas and inspiration for your own garden. This is truly the jewel in the crown of regional garden tours.
The Auxiliary Garden Tours include lunch with live harp music. All under the canopy of trees on the beautiful Morgan Terrace in the midst of the Arboretum gardens in full bloom. Then board luxury air-conditioned motor coaches, complete with restrooms, for a relaxing journey to this years beautiful gardens.
Plus, you can tour a fifth garden, the Arboretum, for free!
Summer Garden Tours: Delight in the days of summer sunshine by helping our Garden tour guests enjoy a wonderful day touring great private gardens.
Auxiliary volunteers work as:
Bus Captains: Accompany a group on the tour bus, make announcements, keep the tour on schedule and help guide the bus driver to gardens (Pre-tour attendance mandatory).
Garden Guides: Act as hosts in the gardens answering questions, assisting garden owners and guests and keeping the tour on schedule.
Luncheon Hospitality: Volunteers assist with serving lunch by setting up and clearing tables.

The tours will take place regardless of the weather.
Each tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Please wear comfortable and sensible shoes.
All tours are led by knowledgeable guides on luxury air-conditioned motor coaches.
Unfortunately, our destination gardens and coaches cannot accommodate those with special needs, including wheelchairs, walkers, etc.
No separate admission to the Arboretum is required. Please show your tour ticket at the Gate House.
Reservations are limited and will be filled by postmark date.
We cannot hold reservations or spaces on the coach. If you wish to be seated as a group, payment for all guests named in your party must accompany the registration form.
