Auxiliary Volunteer Opportunities at the Spring Plant Sale

Spring Plant Sale

Share your interest in gardening and help put on Minnesota's largest and finest plant sale on the 2nd weekend in May.

We kick off preparations for our sale by meeting at the Arboretum Greenhouses to pot up Roses and other
shrubs the last two Saturday mornings of March.

Then we spend Tuesday and Thursday mornings of April at the greenhouses, potting and caring for plants in preparation for the sale.

Monday-Thursday of plant sale week, plants are delivered to the Picnic Shelter area.

Volunteers are needed to carry and sort plants.

The sale days, volunteers work as monitors, checkers, cashiers and sellers, and to answer questions, etc.

Volunteers who have donated 15 hours or more to the Plant Sale preparations can shop the presale on Friday.

Call 952-443-1400, extension 7052 to leave your name and telephone number for information.
