Here's how:  Purchase or renew a family membership for Mom and write her a 10-word "love note" that will be printed in the Arboretum's full-page ad in the May issue of Mpls/St. Paul magazine!  If you've already renewed or initiated an Arboretum membership, you can still participate in this offer for just $30!  Deadline for this Mother's Day tribute is tomorrow - Tuesday, March 24.  Click link below for details and online order form.

Pancakes

It's Pancake Time!

We know it's spring when.... the mud oozes, the winds blow, the first wildflowers emerge and the pancakes sizzle on the griddle!  This weekend, stop by the Arboretum for our annual Pancake Brunch and Maple Syrup Tours.  On Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the MacMillan Auditorium, you can savor "all-you-can-eat" pancakes, garnished with Arboretum-made maple syrup, pecans and sausage links. Beverages include milk, juice and coffee.  Tickets are $8.50 for members 8 and older; $11 for non-members 8 and older; $5.50 for all children ages 4-7 and free for ages 3 and under. They may be purchased at the Oswald Visitor Center the day of the event.  Round out the experience with a self-guided maple-syruping tour of the Arboretum sugarbush and sugarhouse.  Tours will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. both days.
