 Arboretum Opens Gift Store in Galleria for Holiday Shopping
Enjoy the ‘Flavor of the Arb' at new temporary Edina space

            Chanhassen, MN (Oct. 15) - The Gift Store at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a popular destination for shoppers with its unique gardening gifts, mosaic yard benches, artful prints and pottery, handcrafted jewelry and one-of-a-kind treasures.  Now you can double your pleasure with the opening of the seasonal Arboretum Gift Store in the Galleria shopping center in Edina.  This satellite store, open Nov. 1-Dec. 31, will feature a variety of same merchandise found at the main Arboretum Gift Store, including a wide range of children's books, as well as nature, gardening and cooking volumes for adults.  For that hard-to-please person on your list, Arboretum gift cards and gift memberships also will be available. 

            Special events include naturalist Jim Gilbert signing his new book, "Jim Gilbert's Minnesota Nature Notes" on Nov. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m., and Janie Jasin signing her book "The Littlest Christmas Tree" on Dec. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m.  The new store will be located near the Good Earth Restaurant in the Galleria, which is located at 69^th Street and France Avenue in Edina.  The Arboretum Gift Store will be open during mall hours.  For more information, call 952-443-1439.
