Thank you to those who participated in our Anniversary events! Your continued support helps us maintain our beautiful gardens.
The Arboretum's roots reach back to 1908, when the University of Minnesota Horticultural Research Center began developing apple varieties that could survive in the state's subzero temperatures. In 2008, join us as we mark 100 years of research and discovery -- and 50 years as Minnesota's premier public gardens -- with a year-long celebration. The schedule is already packed with events, and the much-anticipated "Treeology" Summer Exhibition that celebrates the year of the tree.
Although the events below have come and gone, please take a look at the great photos!
